Questions providers ask us
Is DeltaSkill an LMS?
It includes one, but it starts earlier and ends later: with the booking and with the verified certificate. If all you need is to sell self-paced videos, a course platform may be enough. If you run cohorts, coaching or certificates alongside self-paced courses, DeltaSkill is built for you.
Where exactly is my data?
The application and database run on a dedicated Hetzner server in Falkenstein, Germany; backups are encrypted and stored in the EU. The trust page will list every sub-processor with its country. Where you choose a US provider (Stripe for payments, for example), we say so.
Do I have to move my website?
No. Your site keeps its pages; dates, prices and the “Book now” button come from our API or widget. Participants sign in to a member area that can run under your own domain on Business.
Is anything usage-based?
Only video storage you host with us, and every plan includes plenty: 200 GB on Starter, 1 TB on Professional, 2 TB on Business. Learners, enrollments, administrators, trainers, courses, cohorts and certificates are unlimited in every plan. Unlimited means unlimited for running your own training business. On clear misuse, such as reselling access, automated mass sign-ups or using DeltaSkill as general file storage, we talk to you first and may limit the account.
Do I need anything else on top of DeltaSkill?
Very little. A video-conferencing tool for live sessions and coaching, from about €5 a month per host; DeltaSkill connects to Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Nextcloud Talk. A Stripe or Mollie account if you take card payments; bank transfer needs nothing extra. For Course Studio, an account with a speech provider that you pay by usage. Your website and domain stay where they are. Everything from booking to certificates is in DeltaSkill.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, any time: participants, enrollments and invoices as CSV, courses as a folder export with Markdown and media. Certificate verification links keep working after you leave.
