2. In short

  • This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
  • We use no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising and no social media plugins.
  • Fonts, scripts and images load only from our own server. Your browser connects to no third party when you visit.
  • We process personal data only in the server logs and when you write to us through the contact form or by e-mail.

3. Hosting

The website runs on a server of

in the Falkenstein data center (Germany). We have a data processing agreement with Hetzner under Art. 28 GDPR.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably).

4. Server logs

On every request, our web server and the application automatically log:

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • the address requested and the response status
  • browser type and operating system (user agent)

We use this data only to deliver the website, to find errors and to fend off attacks. We do not analyze it for marketing and do not combine it with other data.

On the web server, the logs are overwritten continuously: at most 10 MB of web server logs and 30 MB of application logs are kept, which is a few days to a few weeks depending on traffic. The logs are also sent to our own monitoring server, likewise at Hetzner in Germany (Nuremberg data center), and are deleted there automatically after 30 days.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Contact form

The form on the contact page lets you request a demo or apply for the Early-Access Program. We process:

  • name and e-mail address (required)
  • organization and website (optional)
  • the number of cohorts and paying participants per year, the tools you use today, and your message (optional)
  • whether you want to join the Early-Access Program, the plan from which you opened the form, and the language of the page

Purpose: to answer your request and prepare the demo or an offer.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract at your request); for requests unrelated to a contract, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering).

Storage: the request is stored in a database on our server at Hetzner in Germany and deleted automatically after 24 months. If a business relationship results, the periods that apply to it take over, in particular statutory retention obligations.

Notification: we are notified of each request by e-mail. Postmark, a service of ActiveCampaign, LLC (1 N Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60602, USA), sends this e-mail as our processor. The e-mail contains the details from the form. ActiveCampaign is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer to the US is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

Protection against abuse: to keep automated programs from abusing the form, your browser solves a small computing task (ALTCHA) before sending. The task is created and checked only on our server; no data goes to third parties and no cookies are set. We also limit the number of requests per connection: for this, your IP address is held in the server’s cache for 10 minutes. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working form free of abuse).

6. Contact by e-mail

When you write to us by e-mail, or we answer your request by e-mail, we process your details in the mailbox hello@productleaders.com. This mailbox runs on Google Workspace, provided by Google Cloud EMEA Limited (70 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland) as our processor. A transfer to Google LLC in the US cannot be ruled out; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.

We delete the e-mails once they are no longer needed for handling the request, at the latest after 24 months, unless a business relationship results or statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no cookies and uses neither local storage nor similar techniques. Consent under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021) is therefore not required.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)

10. Data security

The connection to the website is always encrypted with TLS. Only authorized people in our company can access the server and the database.

11. Changes

We update this privacy policy when the website, our service providers or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
